The Australian HR Institute (AHRI) has recently committed to transform the HR profession by introducing HR certification in Australia. A central outcome of HR certification will be to provide greater certainty to ‘purchasers’ of HR services by clearly distinguishing what true HR business partners look like and how they can benefit organizations.
Being able to formally distinguish good HR knowledge and skills and reliably identify the individuals
who possess those skills will make a positive contribution to Australia’s workplaces, to the standing
of HR practitioners and to the ongoing success of the businesses they support.
